The Scottish Thistle is the emblem of Scotland, adopted during the reign of Alexander the Third (1249-1286). Our Scottish Thistle Pin/Pendant pays homage to this delightful flower, so steeped in that country's history. Made of highly polished silver and gold over pewter, this design measures 1 ½" in length and width. The pendant bail is completely hidden in the back so as not to interfere with the design, and is generously sized to easily accommodate a larger chain.
